Extended Day Program

Cedar Valley Montessori School offers this program for the four- to six-year-old child who enjoys a longer work period to extend morning activities. Ideally the child would have had some previous experience in a Montessori classroom. The longer day provides an opportunity for some in-depth pursuit of many areas already available and for branching out into others according to the child's interests. The Directress and Administrator are responsible for all final decisions regarding which children are ready for this program. The Extended Day may also be used as a Kindergarten option. All children using the Extended Day program will be with the same Directress morning and afternoon. Extended Day students meet (in addition to the five-day morning schedule) Monday through Thursday 12:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.
